That’s right! I saw the infamous shirt from 1993’s “Cradle of Filth” debut album, at the Aftershock Music Festival last year, "Jesus is A Cunt" and it got my wheels spinning… UH OH!
I mean, my reaction SHOULD come as NO surprise to those who attend the FHMCC either physically or virtually, but I’m sure I will get some kickback… I will be speaking on this next Sunday, so if this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back for you, AT LEAST watch my message coming up on Sunday, August 4th…
So what did I do? Yup…. You guessed it! Let’s honor the TRUE C**T of the Universe! Yes folks, I'm screaming, NO! Satan Is A Cunt! #satanisacunt
BACK
FRONT
I toyed with the idea for months and then I thought I would do a test run far FAR away from home just in case I am wrong about what I envisioned happening… And FOR THE RECORD, I would ONLY wear this shirt at HARDCORE music festivals like Rockville, Louder Than Life, Inkarceration, Aftershock and ALL OTHERS like them… Trust me everyone when I say that EVERYTHING I do and the way I do it at the FHMCC is 100% designed to GRAB THE ATTENTION of LOST PEOPLE in hope that it stimulates a conversation about Jesus that begins with curiosity, shock factor and humor….
Welp I did it, and decided to try it at the Rockville Music Festival at Daytona Beach, this year… I WAS SO NERVOUS and was prepared to rip the shirt off and TRASH IT if my prediction was wrong…
Well, it wasn’t….
I was FLOODED with people ALL DAY!!!! Pagans and Christians alike approached me and asked if they could take pictures and asked where they could get one! Up to this point I didn’t think ANYTHING could top the “Ask Me About Free Weed at the FHMCC” shirt that we launched at Inkarceration last year, but this new shirt did just that, HANDS DOWN!
That was in May, and it left me 2 months to decide whether or not, I would try it close to home at Inkarceration in Mansfield… I knew I had the HIGH CHANCE of running into peeps that I know, but I decided it was worth the risk… Ohhhhhhhh and boy oh boy was it! To my surprise, It was even MORE successful than Daytona!
Now I am at a crossroads… Just by posting this article, I already know the modern-day Pharisees are going to come scurrying at me like the cockroaches that they are, but to sell it? (ONLY ON LINE) Whoa…… That would mean a CONSTANT attack for the rest of my days….
Is it worth it? I mean we had 16 salvations in Daytona and 33 at Inkarceration! Not all because of that shirt alone, BUT it was so effective, we actually have a few adult entertainment peeps that will be coming to service here in a couple of weeks!
I want to SAVE THE WORLD folks! I want to save the LOST at ALL COSTS! It’s a shame that we even have to have such drastic tactics to share Jesus with people, but that’s not my fault! The Pharisees did this… The Pharisees at the main gate of Inkarceration yelling hateful and hurtful words did this!
I love lost people plain and simple… I speak their language… I can get their attention in a humorous and non-threatening way EFFECTIVELY! I give God ALL of the credit for this by the way… I wanted to be a Rockstar, remember? God had different plans for me and I am now so thankful that He did…
33 eternities were changed in just 3 DAYS! Subtract the hours of sleep and that was only 36 hours! That averages almost 1 per hour! FHMCC 33 / Street Preachers 0! PRAISE GOD!
Oh and one last thing…. Here is the scripture that the Pharisees are going to hit me with OUT OF CONTEXT:
Ephesians 4:29-32
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
The funny part is, that all throughout the past 13 years, they only know and recite this much and they say it with the arrogance as if they were a Bible Scholar: Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths…
I will always ask what it says after that, and NONE OF THEM could ever tell me… Now go back and read it real slow…. This method IS building up the Inkarceration crowd according to THEIR needs and it IS benefitting them!
Now look at this part: Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
I see Christians slander Christians on a DAILY basis and this is happening at EVERY Church on ANY given Sunday, week after week after week and it NEVER gets called out! So with that being said, if you are going to come at me with scripture, DO NOT use that one because you are misusing it…
And seriously… What’s in a word?
Here’s what The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition had to say:
C*nt /kŭnt/
noun
The vulva.
Used as a disparaging term for a woman.
Used as a disparaging term for a person one dislikes or finds extremely disagreeable.
Here’s another cool breakdown:
C*nt
C*nt is a vulgar word for the vulva. It is used in a variety of ways, including as a term of disparagement. "C*nt" is often used as a disparaging and obscene term for a woman in the United States, an unpleasant or objectionable person in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or a contemptible man in Australia and New Zealand. In Australia and New Zealand, it can also be a neutral or positive term when used with a positive qualifier. The term has various derivative senses, including adjective and verb uses. (Continue on Wikipedia, it’s great!)
In closing, I feel NO CONVICTION or UNEASINESS about this shirt whatsoever! Now if I wore it in a nursing home, the Holy Spirit would not even let me walk through the door without my conviction radar screaming in my head, but at a secular music festival filled with vendors selling witchcraft and antichrist merch? A festival of sex, drugs, nudity and blasphemy? OH HELL YES! Put your dukes up Satan! God showed me a way to break into your house and steal a few trophies that you thought were unreachable! 33 to be exact!
Now here is how the whole shirt thing started…. Read the article below and let’s hear your thoughts… Thanks for reading and I hope to see YOU at a music festival someday soon!
UP THE IRONS!

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Dani Filth admits he would feel "uncomfortable" wearing Cradle Of Filth's infamous Jesus t-shirt today: "I don't want spit in my food" by Liz Scarlett( Metal Hammer )
While Dani Filth doesn't regret Cradle Of Filth's controversial 1993 t-shirt, he says he wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it now
Dani Filth has reflected on Cradle Of Filth's most controversial piece of merchandise, the infamous 1993 t-shirt emblazoned with the charming words 'Jesus Is A Cunt', admitting that he would feel "uncomfortable" wearing it today.
During an appearance on the Stoke The Fire podcast, hosted by Killswitch Engage's Jesse Leach and Life In The Stocks' Matt Stocks, the extreme metal frontman discussed his early musical tastes, such as his love of punk.
As Stocks points out, Dani's kinship with the genre can be found within Cradle Of Filth and their controversial antics of creating imagery that shocks and challenges fans, such as the aforementioned t-shirt.
"I think a lot of people obviously associate you with metal or extreme metal, but I love the fact that you've always been very open about your love of punk," muses Stocks. "I think, for me, a lot of what you've done throughout the Cradle story seems to be driven from a similar place to punk and this want to be in control, to do it yourself and to shock and provoke. I think a lot of the philosophies that punk rock showed the world, you incorporated into extreme metal through Cradle Of Filth."
"There's a certain 'you don't give fuck' attitude that I always liked about your band and who you were," adds Leach. "You pissed people off and you sort of caused controversy. To me it was all part of it; I loved it, I thought it was great. It's what you kind of have to do with a band, and that all comes from punk rock".
"The thing about that shirt was that it was, actually, an anarchic statement, if anything, when we did it," says Filth. "It was just like, 'Who could you poke with a stick more than anybody else, and it have an overarching effect?'."
The vocalist then goes on to describe how he would feel about sporting the shirt in today's climate. "As nasty as it is, I must admit, I would be uncomfortable wearing it now," he explains. "My girlfriend, we went for a meal, and she inadvertently put it on because it was chilly outside. She had a cut down version of it, but there was enough of it. And I looked at her in horror like, 'Oh my god, what are you doing?' Like, I mean, I don't want lots of spit in my food, you know? It's an awkward scenario, but I'm pleased we did [the shirt], it was good fun."
